NEW MAGAZINE OF THE SERBIAN PARISH OF SPLIT

The first issue of "Pravoslavno slovo" /"Orthodox Letter"/ the newspaper of the Serbian Orthodox parish of Split was published end last year, 2001. This magazine is published twice a year. This issue of "Orthodox Letter" contains the following: interview with Bishop Longin - ex Bishop of Dalmatia, the interviewer being priest Nikola Skrbic; Bishop Atanasije's article on St. Sava of Serbia; then articles written by Prof. Dr. Vladeta Jerotic "Is It Difficult to Believe in Christian Manner?", Prof. Dr. Radovan Bigovic "Orthodoxy and Religious Tolerance", priest Nikola Skrbic, professor, "Faith and Medicine" and "Slava", priest Slavko Zorica, professor "Diocese of Dalmatia", "Ecumenical Charter", Branislav Zoric "Couple of Words on Serbian Orthodox Church Chanting" and Branko Colovic "Share of Dalmatia in Total Serbian Church-Artistic Heritage". The magazine also presents various explanations, news, messages, chronicle of 2001, as well as texts on the renovated and consecrated chapel of St. Sava in Split, on revived parish of Imotsko and on ecumenical meeting of the representatives of Roman-Catholic and Serbian Church and Islamic community who held exhaustive and useful talks about new law and legal position of Churches and religious communities.
