Information Service of CARDINAL MARTINI VISITS YUGOSLAVIA His Eminence Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini, Archbishop of Milan, arrived in Belgrade today, at the invitation of the Bishops' Conference of Yugoslavia. On Saturday, February 16, His Holiness Pavle, Serbian Patriarch, will receive - together with hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church - Cardinal Martini, member of the Congregation for Eastern Churches. On Friday, February 15, the eminent guest from Vatican will visit the Diocese of Backa, His Grace Irinej being the host this time. According to the schedule, they will visit the Kovilj Monastery and the Cathedral in Novi Sad. On Thursday, February 14, starting at 18:00, Cardinal Martini will deliver a lecture "A Christian and Challenges of the Third Millennium" at the Theological Faculty of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Belgrade. |
