Information Service of PEACEMAKERS AT WORK The harassment of the clergy and faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Diocese of Dabro-Bosnia by the International forces in SFOR has yet to desist! Following the recent vandalizing and break-in of a church, school and other public buildings and homes in Celebici, another one of their targets was the parish home in the Gorazde parish (Srpsko Gorazde – Kopaci). On the 23rd of March during the afternoon hours the Rev. Novica Cebic, pastor in Gorazde, received guests in his parish home, which was then heavily surrounded by SFOR and the International Police. Immediately thereafter, they entered the parish home and, while constantly photographing, overturned and searched the entire home, including a crib in which a one month old baby was lying, and even a wash machine in which wet diapers were inspected. Notably, there was neither a search warrant nor authorization issued for this invasion of privacy. In the end, to demonstrate the forceful nature of their presence, on the street in front of the house they waited for the priest's eight year old daughter and her friend whom they hand-searched by frisking them beneath their jackets. This is a fine picture of the members of the International forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Certainly, they will soon respond to the question, which is a greater threat to peace in Bosnia: Serbian clergy (especially when they have guests), their one month old babies, or are their young daughters considered the most dangerous!?
