YUGOSLAV ARMY His Holiness Pavle Serbian Patriarch received today Lieutenant General Nebojsa Pavkovic - Head of the General Staff of the Yugoslav Army with his associates in the Patriarchate Palace in Belgrade today. General Pavkovic congratulated Slava - Lazarus' Saturday as well as the forthcoming Paschal feast to His Holiness. Representatives of the Yugoslav Army conveyed impressions from their recent visit to the Chilandar Monastery and Mount Athos to His Holiness. The Patriarch and army representatives also talked about the fostering of the cooperation between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Yugoslav Army. His Holiness wished all the best from the Lord for the subsequent Paschal feast to his guests. |
