Information Service of REGULAR SESSION OF THE HOLY ASSEMBLY OF BISHOPS Regular session of the Holy Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church starts in the Patriarchate Palace on Thursday, May 23, 2002. At the beginning of the session, at 9:00, the Invocation of the Holy Spirit is going to be served in the Patriarchate Chapel of Simeon the Myrrhflowing. The Holy Assembly of Bishops will consider all the current issues from the life of the Church and the people. All the hierarchs of the Serbian Orthodox Church will attend the session. On Sunday, May 26, 2002, His Holiness Pavle Serbian Patriarch will attend, together with the participants of the Assembly, the marking of the 750th anniversary of the existence of the Moraca Monastery, the endowment of the Prince Stefan Nemanjic, Vukan's son and Stefan Nemanja's (forefather of the Serbs) grandson. |
