Information Service of DIOCESE OF BACKA CELEBRATED ITS PATRON SAINT On September 19/6, the feast of the Miracle of the Holy Archangel Michael in Hannah (Colossi), the Monastery of Kovilj celebrated its slava and the patron saint of the Diocese of Backa. Their Grace Irinej - Bishop of Backa and Porfirije – Bishop of Jegar, Vicar of the Diocese of Backa, officiated at the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy and 10 priests served. All the priests of the Diocese of Backa participated by their prayers, as well as the guest, priests from the Diocese of Ivanovo (the Russian Orthodox Church) and an Orthodox priest from the Czech Republic. |
