in Belgrade

Being aware of the importance of the present moment for our people and the State, We invite all the citizens of the Republic of Serbia to go to the polls and participate in the run-off of the elections for the President of the Republic of Serbia. The State needs democratically elected authorities, headed by the President of the State – just like people need bread for living. We all have to be aware that an insufficient number of voters going to the polls would seriously jeopardise the steady progress of the State and the society as a whole. After all the disturbances that our people has been experiencing – both in the past and in the present - , it would be irresponsible to neglect the basic civil duty and abstain from elections, having in mind that this is the decisive moment for the renewal of the joint state of Serbia and Montenegro, the moment of settlement of crucial issues in Serbia (especially of those concerning Kosovo and Metochia), and the moment of integration of our country into international community.

Therefore, We would like to invite all the citizens of Serbia to go to the polls, i.e. to participate in the run-off, and vote freely and responsibly, based on their own beliefs and following their own conscience.
