Information Service of LECTURE OF BISHOP ATANASIJE (JEFTIC) His Grace Bishop Atanasije (Jeftic) delivered a lecture Saint Sava's Vow at the Faculty of Philology, Belgrade, in Sala Heroja, on December 12, 2002. Bishop Atanasije underlined that the most important thing for the Serbian people was to return to its primordial Orthodoxy that looks up to the example of Saint Sava and not to forget two greatest Christ's Commandments: to love Jesus Christ and to love our neighbours. He especially pointed out that a man is the being of the community and that he can express in the right manner the gifts that God gave him, only if he takes part in the life of the Church community. After two hours of inspiringly vivid lecture, Bishop responded to the questions of the present students, mostly from the Belgrade University. |
