TRANSLATION OF RELICS OF SAINT BISHOP
NIKOLAJ OF ZICA AND OHRID FROM THE LELIC MONASTERY INTO ST. SAVA’S MEMORIAL TEMPLE IN
BELGRADE
On the occasion of the solemn canonisation of
Saint Bishop Nikolaj (Velimirovic) to be performed in the Saint Sava’s Memorial Church
at Vracar in Belgrade on May 24, 2003, the reliquary with the Saint’s relics will be
translated from the Lelic Monastery into the Saint Sava’s Temple in Belgrade on Friday,
May 23, 2003 in the afternoon. The relics will be in the Saint Sava’s Temple till
Saturday, May 24, 2003 in the evening.
Thus all the participants of this holy and historic event will be given
the opportunity to pay homage to this great Serbian shrine – the holy relics of Saint
Bishop Nikolaj.
