Information Service of ARCHBISHOP ANASTASIOS Cetinje, May 2, 2003 His Eminence Amfilohije, Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, who is heading the excursion of the Cetinje Seminary seniors in their visit to the Orthodox Church of Albania, officiated at the Holy Hieararchal Liturgy in the Monastery of Saint Vlasius near Durres this morning. Priests Arsenije Radovic and Boris Brajovic, Deacon Nikola Gacevic and priests of the Orthodox Church of Albania served the Liturgy. Metropolitan Amfilohije and professors and pupils paid homage to the relics of the Saint Jovan Vladimir, Martyr King of Zeta. At 11:00 His Beatitude Anastasios, Archbishop of Tirana, Durres and All Albania received Metropolitan Amfilohije in the seat of the Archdiocese. In the cordial conversation Archbishop thanked the Metropolitan, professors and pupils for the visit, while Metropolitan requited with thanking for the love and hospitality shown. The seniors of the Cetinje Seminary continue their trip by sailing to Corfu where they will pay homage to the relics of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker, and visit the Serbian Military Ossuary, the so-called Blue Ossuary due to the blue depths of the sea the corpses were buried in, at the isle of Vido. |
