THE FEAST OF ASSUMPTION OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST –
THE PATRON DAY OF THE CITY OF BELGRADE AND OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH

On the feast day of the Assumption of our Lord Jesus Christ His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle is going to serve the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy together with several hierarchs, priests and deacons in the Church dedicated to the event of Assumption (Admirala Geprata Street), on Thursday, June 05, 2003, starting at 9:00.

After the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle is going to cut the feast cake brought by the Assembly of the City of Belgrade.

The festive procession starts in front of the Assumption Church at 11:30, tours the city streets, passes by the Belgrade Cathedral and returns into the Assumption Church yard.
