THE NEWLY BUILT CHURCH His Grace Bishop of Backa Irinej and His Grace Bishop of Jegar Porfirije consecrated the newly built Church dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The consecration was served with the help of several priests, within the District Prison, on Sunday, July 27, 2003. Many people attended this solemn consecration of the Church built in a very short period: representatives of Christian Churches, representative of the Jewish community in Novi Sad, many eminent public persons, employees of the District Prison as well as the prisoners themselves. |
