THE HOLY RELICS FROM ITALY Delegation of eminent officials of the Greek Orthodox Church took over from the Arch-Diocese of Venice part of the holy relics of Saint Barbara the Great Martyr, that are supposed to be delivered to the new church in Athens, which is going to be consecrated in October. The translation of relics was performed in a special military vehicle, and a special honorary platoon of Italian police escorted the vehicle to the airport. |
