The second issue of the magazine Saint Sava of Gornji Karlovac was recently printed, with the blessing of His Grace Fotije, Bishop of Dalmatia and Administrator of Gornji Karlovac.

New Orthodox magazine is not an oddity in this period, but such a magazine in the Diocese of Gornji Karlovac equals a miracle. There are a few ardent workers in this desolate Diocese, but they do not despair. On the contrary, with much enthusiasm did they start renovating the devastated parishes and gathering the faithful flock. The magazine includes several "thematic fields": theological topics and texts of Bishop Simeon (Zlokovic) of blessed memory which are real pearls of the Christian wisdom, written simply, for everyone to understand, emanating deep faith and love; feuilletons about Saint Bishop Nikolaj of Ohrid and Zica, about hierarchs of the Diocese of Gornji Karlovac, and about the cultural heritage of the Diocese; interview of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa On Pope's Visit to the Republic of Croatia, taken over from Gradjanski list; section From Our Parishes: Father Milos Orelj's Jubilee, Donji Lapac, Church Ruzica - Korenica, Parish of Kolarica-Vojnic, Petrinja, Senj; and eventually - new books review.

The toil of the parish priest Dusko Spasojevic, acting chief editor of the magazine is surely to be praised, since when reading such a nice and well edited magazine nobody could even presume how hard his working conditions really are. The church has been destroyed, the residence as well. Young priest Dusko Spasojevic serves the Holy Liturgy, edits the magazine and works in several accommodated premises.
