Information Service of PAN-DALMATIAN GATHERING IN KRKA At the feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ, August 19, 2003, a Serbs' Pan-Dalmatian Gathering was held in the Monastery of Krka, in the presence of a large number of the Orthodox Serbs from the country and from the world and their guests. Their Graces Fotije - Bishop of Dalmatia and Constantine - Bishop of Central Europe officiated at the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy, while numerous monastics and priests participated in it. Many officials attended this Gathering: official representative of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro Ambassador Milan Simurdic; Ambassador of the Republic of Greece Dimitris Viduras; the representative of the Republic of Croatia: President Mesic's delegate Dr Ivan Mastruk; highest representatives of the Serbian community in Croatia: Dr Milorad Pupovac - President of the Serbian National Council, Dr Vojislav Stanimirovic and Cedomir Visnjic - President of the Serbian National Society Prosvjeta from Zagreb. Dancing and Singing Folk Groups Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj from Bijelo Brdo, Djurdjevdan from Dreznica and Zora from Zegar performed an interesting cultural programme. |
