His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Pavle received today Mr Nebojsa Covic, Ph.D., Vice-President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and President of the Coordination Centre for Kosovo and Metochia. Mr Covic informed His Holiness of the latest, most distracting events in Kosovo and Metochia, when several people got killed – which could leave enormous consequences on the, currently rather dissatisfying, safety in this region. Patriarch gave full support to the efforts that the Coordination Centre does to the end of preserving the sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo and Metochia. Mr Covic also informed His Holiness of the fact that out of 90 addresses to which the Coordination Centre’s Guidelines for the settlement of the Kosovo & Metochia crisis were sent and were expected to obtain an answer from (attitude to or opinion on the situation) till August 4, only 3 addresses supplied their answers.
