PRIME MINISTER KOSTUNICA VISITS
METROPOLITANATE OF ZAGREB AND LJUBLJANA

Serbian prime minister Vojislav Kostunica paid an official visit to Croatia on November 23, 2005 where he met with his counterpart, Ivo Sanader.

During the course of prime minister Kostunica’s visit, His Eminence Metropolitan Jovan of Zagreb and Ljubljana, together with the bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia and the Zagreb clergy, received him in the Metropolitanate in Zagreb. Prime minister Escorted by his host, prime minister Kostunica also visited the museum of the Diocese of Zagreb and Ljubljana, which includes the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Serbian people who have lived in this region for centuries.

On the same day prime minister Kostunica met with Serbian political representatives in Croatia, and visited the Prosvjeta Serbian Cultural Society.
