THE HOLY HIERARCHICAL SYNOD OF THE SERBIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH AGAINST SLANDEROUS INTERNET ACTIVITY

Due to the increasing frequency of the creation of anonymous websites, from various self-proclaimed defenders of Orthodoxy, who in a most callous way attack the Serbian Orthodox Church, mudding, among others things, the work and persons of some of our oldest and most esteemed bishops, attempting to, in a very faithless manner, create divisions in the Church itself. His Grace, Bishop Artemije of Ras and Prizren, who these self-proclaimed are supposedly defending, today at a meeting of the Holy Hierarchical Synod, announced that he does not support the Gazimestan website (www.gazimestan.com), distancing himself publicly, from this and other similar websites which use his name as a screen for attacks on the Serbian hierarchs. They do not have the blessing of Bishop Artemije, nor is he in agreement with the contents of such electronic media.
