HIS BEATITUDE THE SERBIAN PATRIARCH KYR PAVLE
TO CONSECRATE FOUNDATION OF NEW CHURCH IN BOLEC
On the Sunday of the Paralytic, May 2, 2004, His Beatitude the
Serbian Patriarch Kyr Pavle will consecrate the foundation of
a new church in Bolec near Belgrade.
His Beatitude the Serbian Patriarch Kyr Pavle is expected to
be welcomed at 7:30 a.m. Holy Archierchal Liturgy will begin
at 8:00 a.m. Immediately after Holy Liturgy the consecration
ceremony will take place on the foundation of the future church
of the Holy Ascension, which is being built according to the
plan of Mrs. Ljubica Bosnjak, the architect of the Archbishopric
of Belgrade and Karlovac.
PUBLIC COMMUNIQUE REGARDING THE CELEBRATION OF THE PATRON SAINT'S
DAY OF THE HOLY PETROVIC DYNASTY IN NJEGUSI As in previous years the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the
Littoral will celebrate with prayer the Patron Saint's Day of
the holy Petrovic dynasty by a Holy Archierchal Liturgy to be
served by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Montenegro and the
Littoral Kyr Amfilohije with his clergy in the church of St.
George in Njegusi on May 6, 2004 at 9:00 a.m.
To be celebrated at the same time is the 170 year anniversary
of the canonization of St. Peter of Cetinje the Miracle-Worker,
as well as the 170 year anniversary of the founding of the first
primary school in Montenegro in Cetinje Monastery.

PRESENTATION
OF BOOK BY ABBOT JOVAN (PURIC) OF OSTROG, "LESTVICA
TAJNOVODSTVENOG PUTOVANJA" On Monday,
May 3, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the small auditorium of Kolaceva
Zaduzbina (the Kolarac Endowment) a book by Father
Jovan (Puric), the abbot of Ostrog Monastery, called "Lestvica
tajnovodstvenog putovanja" will be presented. The book is
a collection of selected essays, homilies, lectures and sermons
by Father Jovan prepared during the last 15 years.
Speaking about the book will be Father Dusan Dacic, the former
rector of St. Sava Seminary in Belgrade and the chief inspector
of orthodox seminaries of the Serbian Orthodox Church; Father
Dr. Radomir Popovic, a professor at the Theological Faculty;
Dr. Vojislav Jelic, a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy;
and the author, Father Jovan (Puric), the abbot of Ostrog Monastery.
