The Association of Tradesmen and Entrepreneurs in Nis and the icon painters of Nis trained under the auspices of this Association have donated 23 icons for the Serbian monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija. “This is our debt to our holy shrines, to the Serbian Orthodox Church, and to our people who are living under exceptionally difficult conditions. We believe that it represents a small contribution to the restoration of faith in the possibility of the survival of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija,” said Blagoje Sanisavljevic, an engineer and the secretary general of the Association.
