MODERN TECHNOLOGY FURTHERS CHURCH MISSION

The monastery of Lepavina has provided an interesting statistical breakdown of the visitors to their website www.manastir-lepavina.htnet.hr with the accompanying text:

“We are very pleased by the fact that the number of visitors to our site continues to increase from month to month. These tangible spiritual fruits represent a source of great encouragement for us and a stimulus for even more zealous and dedicated missionary work. We would like to thank all those who have visited us and who have joined the great spiritual family gathered around Lepavina Monastery, which is governed by the great law of love and the Gospel, and in which Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Guide who leads, protects and blesses us. Our Lord whose imagine appears on the icon with the Gospel and His right hand which blesses, tells us: " I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep" (Jhn 10:11). And again: " I am the way, and the truth, and the life" (Jhn 14:6).

The greatest number of visitors to our website are from the US. In order to enhance access and the transmission of God’s Word to those who are elderly and unable to read, we are working on including a radio broadcast on the site in order to provide information in audible form. Thanks to the symbolic monthly subscription fees for Internet use, this option is also economically feasible.
