CLASSES BEGIN AT ST SAVA SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY IN LIBERTYVILLE

St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville is slowly advancing toward the twenty-year anniversary of its founding with serious and strenuous work.

On Sunday, September 11, 2005 in the monastery of St. Sava, after Holy Liturgy and the invocation of the Holy Spirit, His Eminence Metropolitan Hristofor of Central and Western America blessed the beginning of the nineteenth school year. In the monastery church, where fresco painting is slowly coming to an end, the inspired chanting of the students echoed long after the service in the hearts of the devoted faithful who gathered for the event. With the concelebration of the Chicago clergy and in the presence of the professors, Metropolitan Hristofor greeted the students and extended his welcome to all, especially first year students.

In the first semester of the first year at the St. Sava School of Theology there are five full-time students from Serbia and four part-time students from the United States of America. This academic year there are a total of 33 students registered at the St. Sava School of Theology in Libertyville.
