Completion of the Ecumenical Patriarch’s visit to Morocco
The visit of His Most Holiness the Bartholomaios , the Ecumenical Patriarch to the city of in Marrakech in Morocco, which tookmplace from the 3rd – 5th November 2017, as part of the 10th international Meeting of the "World Policy Conference " organized by the French IFRIS Institute, has been completed.
The Patriarch was accompanied to the n”Menara” International Airport by the local Metropolitan, His Eminence Meletios, Most Honoured and Exarch of North Africa, on behalf also of His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros II, of Alexandria, and the Honorable Consul of Turkey in Marrakech, Mr. Mehmet Dalkir. Note that it was the first visit by an Ecumenical Patriarch to Morocco, during which the necessary honours were given by His Excellency the Ambassador of Greece to Rabat, Mr. Panagiotis Sarris, the Chairman of the Hellenic Community of Casablanca Mr. Konstantinos Pistikos and Hellenes.
