No visitors at Sinai Saint Cathrine Monastery until March 31

The Sinai Saint Cathrine Monastery has shut down to visitors and pilgrims until 31 March. This is a temporary precautionary measure taken by the Sinai brotherhood against the spread of coronavirus and was officially announced to the Egyptian authorities.

According to the announcement signed by the Dikaios of the Monastery, Archimandrite f. Symeon, the church of the Monastery will remain closed to visitors until March 31. However, the monks will continue to perform all divine services within the temple, praying for the world. The area where the well of Moses and Holy Bush (Burning Bush) are located remains open.
