Bombing in North Sinai – Terrorists will not achieve their goals, Patriarch of Alexandria stressed

Patriarch Theodore of Alexandria and all Africa sent a message of support to the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, and the Egyptian people for the bloody bombing in North Sinai on the 30th of April.

“Egypt is strong thanks to its leaders. The army and its people and will continue to maintain and ensure stability and security throughout the region. Terrorists will not be able to achieve their goals,” the Patriarch stressed. “We are praying to the Lord for the soldiers who have sacrificed themselves for their homeland in the city of Bir al-Abed in North Sinai, where they faced an insidious terrorist attack,” he said. Finally, he expressed his condolences to the Egyptian President, the families of the victims, and the Egyptian people.
