Feast of Saints Constantine and Helen at Halki seminary
The feast of Saints Constantine and Helen is of special importance for the Halki seminary. On this day, Metropolitan Konstantinos of Stavroupolis celebrated his name day, who was the first Dean and Professor of Philosophy at the seminary.
After the Divine Liturgy, the Abbot of the Holy Trinity Monastery of Halki, Bishop Kassianos of Aravissos, performed a trisagion for the repose of the soul of the late hierarch and of Patriarch Constantine V, whose tomb is located in the yard of the seminar.
The Halki seminary sent wishes to the Metropolitan of Nikaia, Geron Konstantinos, on his name day, who is graduate and professor of the Halki seminary.
