On February 22, 2021, a congress of representatives of captured churches of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church took place at the Kiev Lavra of the Caves. It was attended by 338 clergy and laity fr om 14 regions of Ukraine most affected by the raiding actions of the ‘OCU’ proponents.

In the past few days, hundreds and hundreds of letters of congratulations have arrived at the Patriarchal Palace in Belgrade addressed to the Serbian Patriarchate, the Holy Assembly and the Synod, all Serbian Orthodox race, and of course the newly elected first hierarch of the holiest Serbian Orthodox Church, Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovci, and Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.

His Holiness Porfirije read the congratulations of our Orthodox people from Serbia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, but also from Europe, North and South America and Australia with the greatest love and attention.

On 35th Sunday after Pentecost, 7 February 2021, on the feast day of Saint Gregory the Theologian, His Eminence Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia and the Locum Tenens of the Patriarchal Throne officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Knezina on the Romanija mountain.
The Metropolitan was concelebrated by protopresbyter-staurophors Ilija Cupic and Mladen Vidakovic and deacons Budimir Gardovic and Tomislav Pajevic, who was ordained by Metropolitan to the rank of presbyter.
