Declaration on the protection of rights of the Serbian Orthodox Church on free professing of faith and the right on its property in Montenegro

In the first convocation of the Tenth Regular Session, the National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska adopted the Declaration on the Protection of Rights of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Free Professing of Faith and the Right on Its Property in Montenegro as well as nine laws.

In reference to the Declaration on the protection of rights of the Serbian Orthodox Church on free professing of faith and the right on its property in Montenegro, a proposal of the deputy clubs SNSD, DNS, DEMOS, NDP, US, SPS, SP,   notes that the adoption of the arguable Law on the freedom of confession or belief and the law status of religious communities puts the Serbian Orthodox Church in Montenegro into an unequal position  in relation to other religious communities.

Bulgarian PM to be fined for not wearing mask at famous Rila Monastery

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov faces a $172 (300 lev) fine for breaking a coronavirus-related regulation while visiting the famous St. John of Rlia Monastery on Tuesday.

Between June 23 – 25 2020, the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate was convened for its regular meeting of the current month at the Orthodox Center of the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Chambésy, Geneva. On the first day, the chairmen of the synodal committees were engaged in their cooperative work. Many of the Hierarchs of the Throne in Europe were present as well.
