Hate graffiti on Orthodox church in Dubrovnik

Hate graffiti were found in the Orthodox church in Dubrovnik, among which were offensive scrawling such as “Hang the Serbs” could be seen. Regarding this unfortunate event mayor of Dubrovnik Mr. Andro Vlahusic visited parish priest of Dubrovnik protopresbyter Vladan Perisic and expressed strongest condemnation of this outrageous act.

On Sunday, September 1st, 2013, on the feast day of Holy Martyr Andrew Stratelates, His Grace Bishop Jovan of Ulpiana celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of Holy Prince Lazar of Kosovo on Zvezdara. Protopresbyter Mirko Vidacak, dean of the church, protopresbyter-stavrophor Dragoslav Stikic and deacons Vladislav Golic, Miroslav Nikolic and Ivica Cairovic concelebrated to the Bishop.
Serbian Patriarch Irinej visits USA

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch travels to the United States of America, where he is staying from 4-14 September 2013. From the States Patriarch Irinej will go to Sarajevo; where he will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at Sarajevo's Cathedral Church on the occasion of 40th anniversary of the hierarchal office of the Metropolitan Nikolaj of Dabar-Bosna. Presbyter Vladimir Vranic, officer of the Holy Synod of Bishops, will accompany Serbian Patriarch.
Diocese of Western America: Freedom to Pursue the Faith

Friday, August 30, 2013 was the first day of the Jubilee Celebration of the Western American Diocese: Freedom to Pursue the Faith. This year during Diocesan Days we acknowledge several momentous anniversaries: 50 years of the founding of the Diocese, 150 years of the birth of Archimandrite Sebastian Dabovich, Holy Apostle to the Americas, and 1700 years of the Edict of Milan.
On this first day of Diocesan Days, all of our clergy from throughout our Diocese gathered together for a luncheon followed by a special Clergy Siminar with guest speaker V.Rev. Dr. John Erickson of St. Vladimir's Seminary. Later in the day, the Diocesan Council held it's annual meeting in preparation for the Annual Assembly. At the same time, the Diocesan Kolo Sprpskih Sestara held it's Annual Meeting with ladies from KSS organizations from churches throughout the diocese.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received Mayor of Vranje Mr. Zoran Antic and Director of regional Radio-Television of Vranje Mr. Zoran Velickovic at the Serbian Patriarchate on 27 August.
