FJCR fears tragic consequences of Kosovo independence
Moscow, February 18,
Interfax - The Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia
(FJCR) predicts "the most tragic consequences" of unilateral
declaration of the Kosovo independence.
"When the so-called progressive mankind is glad about the exercised right
of Albanians in Kosovo to self-determination, there are no doubts that ethnical
monitories in other countries, especially that have separatist attitudes, will
see a hope for them in this," head of the FJCR's public relations
department Boruh Gorin told Interfax-Religion.
That is why "it is too early to be glad about the Kosovo independence,
because consequences could be the most tragic," he said.
"The international community should act in line with single rules in such
historic cases, because the absence of such rules could easily lead to a
chaos," Gorin said.
