Saint Sava's Day in Nis

On the feast day of Saint Sava, 27 January 2018, His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the church of the Descent of Holy Spirit onto Apostles in Nis. His Grace was concelebrated by the clergy of the church. After the Liturgy His Grace blessed the slava cake at the Faculty of Economics and at a primary school Saint Sava in Nis.

The feast-day of the first Serbian Archbishop Saint Sava was marked by the Divine Liturgy celebrated by the Dechani monks, who after the Liturgy attended the most gentle school performance in the village of Goprazdevac near Pec.

On the feast-day of the Venerable and the God-Bearer our Father Sava, the First Serbian Archbishop, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, officiated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the crypt of the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava.
His Holiness was concelebrated by the abbot of the monastery of the Mother of God the Three-handed in Bogostica , Archimandrite Nifont, Principal of Saint Sava’s Cathedral, Archimandrite Stefan, General Secretary of the Holy Synod of Bishops protopresbyter-staurophor Savo B. Jovic,PhD aas well as other clergimen.

Saint Sava celebrated in Novi Sad

Faithful people of Novi Sad headed by their diocesan Bishop prayerfully celebrated the feast-day of the first Serbian Archbishop Saint Sava.
His Grace Bishop Irinej of Novi Sad and Backa officiated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of the clergy of the Cathedral church of Novi Sad. His Grace the Bishop delivered a sermon, whereafter the school-children presented a spitual academy. After the pre-ambon prayer, the Bishop blessed the slava cake.
