During the weekend of March 26-27, we enjoyed a wonderful visit from His Grace, Bishop Maxim. Preparations for his visit began very early with making plans for meals and cleaning the church. We also completed some icons that had been waiting for mounting and hanging for quite some time. His Grace's upcoming visit was good incentive!
Bishop Maxim visits Kosovo and Metohija

His Grace Bishop Teodosije of Ras and Prizren welcomed His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America at Gracanica Monastery during his visit to Kosovo and Metohija April 2-3, 2016.
The brother hierarchs attended Vespers at the Gracanica monastery church after which they spent time in conversation with the faithful and sisterhood of this holy monastery.
Lenten Workshop in North Canton

On April 9th, 2016, St George Serbian Orthodox Church hosted their first annual Lenten workshop sponsored by the Circle of Serbian Sisters. This year’s workshop facilitator was parish priest Fr Aleksa Pavichevich who spoke on the theme “Quiet: Listening to God in a Noisy World.”

Serbian Patriarch Irinej receives Minister of Internal Affairs

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, received Dr. Nebojsa Stefanovic, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 11 April 2016.
The reception was also attended by Mr. Vladimir Bozovic, adviser to the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
