Lenten Pilgrimage to New York

Parishioners from St George Serbian Orthodox Church in North Canton went on a Lenten Pilgrimage from March 24-27th. Beginning on the morning of March 24th, a group of 13 faithful parishioners offered prayers for safe travel and were blessed in their home church. Later that evening they arrived in White Plains, New York, in Westchester County.
Bulgarian TV Visiting Bulgarian Language School

On Sunday March 13, 2016 a Bulgarian TV crew visited Sts. Cyril and Methodius Bulgarian language School at St. Stevan Of Dechani Serbian Orthodox Church in Columbus Ohio. The Bulgarian Language School was established on September 20, 2014 at St. Stevan of Dechani Church and has been functioning very successfully ever since the day it was established. The Holy Orthodox Church in its essence is Universal.
Celebration of the Triumph of Orthodoxy in Homebush

The Holy Archangel Michael parish celebrated the Sunday of Orthodoxy with the procession of the Holy Icons. It was wonderful to see so many faithful attending the Holy Liturgy, celebrated by the Reverend Presbyter Veselin Svorcan and assisted by the Reverend Deacon Miladin Tripic, affirming the Orthodox Faith on the FirstSunday of Great Lent.
Ambassador of Venezuela visits Serbian Patriarch

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received Her Excellency Dr. Dia Nader de el Andari at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 24 March 2016.
The reception was also attended by Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral, the Administrator of the Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church for South and Central America, as well as Mr. Darwin Castillo, Consul.
Memorial service for the soldiers killed during the NATO aggression

In the chapel of Saint George, at the military barracks “Banjica 2” in Belgrade, the memorial service (panichida) was served for the killed members of the Yugoslav Army during the NATO aggression upon the F.R. Yugoslavia in 1999, the Serbian Armed Forces reported.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubisa Dikovic with members of the collegium attended.
