Ecumenical Patriarch and other Orthodox primates arrive in Montenegro

His All-Holiness Archbishop of Constantinple, New Rome Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and other Orthodox primates, participants of the celebration of the 17 centuries of the Edict of Milan and the ceremony of consecration of the Cathedral Church in Podgorica, came last night with the special plane of "Montenegro Airlines" to Montenegro.
With the same plane the holy relics, hand of Saint John the Baptist and particle of Precious Cross of the Lord, came, which will be today venerated all day during the consecration of Podgorica's Cathedral church. Metropolitan Amfilohije with the clergy of the Metropolitanate and ambassadors of Serbia, Turkey and Greece in Podgorica welcomed Ecumenical Patriarch and other Orthodox primates, representatives of other Christian churches and traditional religious communities.
His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia arrives in Belgrade

His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia arrived with the official delegation to Belgrade on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Edict of Milan.
At the runway of the airport Russian Patriarch was welcomed by His Grace Dr Irinej of Backa, while at the VIP salon the high guest was greeted by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexander Chepurkin and Minister of Transport in the Government of Serbia Aleksandar Antic.

Today afternoon, Metropolitan Sava of Warsaw and All Poland, the Primate of the Polish Orthodox Church arrived from Warsaw to Belgrade.
His Beatitude is accompanied by Vicar Bishop George Pankowski and protopresbyter George Doroshkevich.The Polish church delegation was welcomed at the airport Nikola Tesla by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, Their Graces Bishops: Irinej of Backa, Jovan of Sumadija, Irinej of Australia and New Zealand and Vicar Bishop Andrej of Remesiana.
Miraculous icon of Most Holy Theotokos of Sicevica in Nis

Yesterday at 5 p.m. His Grace Bishop Jovan of Nis with priests and believers welcomed the miraculous icon of Most Holy Mother of God of Sicevica at the church of Sts. Emperor Constantine and Empress Helen the Equal-to-the-Apostles. Bishop Jovan and the gathered prayed Mother of God by reading and singing the Annunciation acathist.
Memorial service at Zeitenlik

Metropolitan of Neapolis and Stavroupolis Barnabas served the memorial service for the suffered Serbian officers and soldiers in the First World War at Zeitenlik in Thessaloniki on 28 September 2013. Minister of Culture Mr. Ivan Tasovac, as an envoy of the Government of Serbia, attended the memorial service.
At the memorial chapel at Zeitenlik abbot of the monastery of Hilandar Archimandrite Methodius celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in attendance of Metropolitan Barnabas of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, Minister of Macedonia and Tracia Mr. Teodor Karaoglu, envoy of the Government of the Republic of Greece; Minister of Labour and Social Politics of the Republic of Srpska Mr. Petar Djokic, Chief of Staff of the Army of the Republic of Greece General Michail Kotsarokos, head of the region of the Central Macedonia Mr. Antonio Bamiyajis, Consul General of Serbia, representatives of the army, police, politics and diplomatic authorities, as well as lots of people.
