New church shop opened at the Terazije Square in Belgrade

The rite  of consecration of the Patriarchal shop today on 19 September 2013 was performed by His Holiness Irinej

By reminding everyone that nothing cannot be done without a prayer, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, began  the  rite of consecration of the Patriarchal shop at the  Terazije Square. The clergy of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovac concelebrated. The choir of pupils of the Seminary “Saint Sava” in Belgrade sang responses.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, recieved a group of students of the Faculty of Theology Ludwing-Maximillian University from Munich, led by dean Mr. Athanasius Vletsis at the Serbian Patriarchate on 17 September 2013.

Patronal feast day of Monastery of Koncul

At the monastery of Koncul Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren served the Holy Liturgy on the second day of Pentecost when traditionally the monastery slava is marked. Clergy of Deaneries of Kosovska Mitrovica and Novi Pazar concelebrated to the Bishop. Many believers from Raska and North of Kosovo attended the Holy Service.

Budva celebrated its patronal feast day

The city of Budva also this year celebrated its patronal feast day - Descent of Holy Spirit onto Apostles. His Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro-Littoral served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of Stanjevic, and along with the clergy of Budva and faithful people of this region participated in the procession.

Metropolitanate Day celebrated in Perth

The Metropolitanate Day celebration of the Serbian Orthodox Church for Australia and New Zealand was held in the beautiful historic building of Perth Town Hall.

The celebration was held in a very pleasant atmosphere that was immediately established by a charming young Ana Davogic, MC. The guests have enjoyed the program that exceeded all expectations and everything that the Serbian community had opportunity to offer to local public in the past.
