Recently residents of Niksic's suburb of Dragova Luka began to restore a church of St. Nicholas, which has been neglected for many years and it is in a very bad shape.

On the feast day of St. Luke the Apostle and St. Peter of Cetinje, His Grace Bishop Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac serve the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of St. Nicholas in Karlovac. His Grace Bishop was concelebrated by protopresbyter-staurophor Slavisa Simakovic and presbyter Sasa Umicevic, from Karlovac.

Feast day of the Icon of Theotokos of Kazan

The Orthodox Church celebrated on October 4 the memory of miraculous redemption of the Moscow from Litvanians which happened in 1612 with the help of the miraculous icon of Theotokos of Kazan. The copy of this icon is kept in the church of St. Sava on Vracar where was brought by the love of the brotherly Russian people came during the NATO bombardment of Serbia.
