Collection “Together through Centuries”: contributions to history of the Russian-Serbian cultural, spiritual and political connections.
Contributor and editor is monk Benyamin (Semenov) from the monastery of All Saints in Kingisepp.
The collection “Together through Centuries” is a work in Russian and Serbian scholars, and it was presented on 4 October 2017 at the Russian Cultural Centre in Belgrade. The event dedicated to of cultural and spiritual ties of Russia and Serbia was opened by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, who thanked for all the efforts that this Collection had been prepared and published, and reminded of the unbreakable ties of two brotherly peoples, of the same faith and the same blood.

The Appeal of Conscience Foundation (ACF) sponsored its 2017 Annual Awards Dinner on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the New York Hilton Midtown for the presentation of the Appeal of Conscience Awards to Brian T. Moynihan, Chairman, CEO, Bank of America; Paul Polman, CEO, Unilever and Masayoshi Son, Chairman, CEO, SoftBank Group Corp. Every year for the past 52 years, the ACF, founded by Rabbi Arthur Schneier in 1965, has worked on behalf of religious freedom and human rights throughout the world. This interfaith coalition of business and religious leaders promotes peace, tolerance and ethnic conflict resolution. The Foundation believes that freedom, democracy and human rights are the fundamental values that give nations of the world their best hope for peace, security and shared prosperity.
Pastoral visit of His Grace Bishop Maxim to the faithful of Seattle

On September 23 and 24, 2017, on 16th Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Maxim visited both Parishes in Seattle: The Holy Protection of the Theotokos in South Park and St. Sava Parish in Issaquah.
On Saturday evening, Bishop Maxim officiated at the Great Vespers Service at the Church of Holy Protection, together with local priest Fr. Serafim Gascoigne, Fr. Zoran Aleksic from St. Sava Church, and the Diocesan Deacon Vladan Radovanovic. After the Vespers, parishioners prepared a dinner and a warm welcome for their Bishop.

His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa, accompanied by His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, visited the monasteries of the Pec Patriarchate and Dechani on Kosovo and Metochia on 26 September 2017.
The Primates of the Patriarchate of Alexandria and the Serbian Orthodox Church were accompanied by Their Eminences Metropolitans Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana, Georgios of Guinea and Niphont of Pelousion, and byTheir Graces Bishops Irinej of Backa, Justin of Zica and Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla; as well as by Very Venerable Archimandrite Daniel, Secretary of the Synod of the Church of Alexandria.

His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africa and His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, celebrated the Holy Liturgy in the crypt of the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava on Vracar on 24 September 2017. The Primate of the Church of Alexandria received order of Saint Sava.
The Divine Liturgy in the crypt of the Memorial Cathedral of Saint Sava in the Vracar District, Belgrade, was officiated by Primates of the Serbian Church and the Church of Alexandria, His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch and His Beatitude Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and All Africawith concelebration of Their Eminences Metropolitans Porfirije of Zagreb-Ljubljana, Georgios of Guinea and Niphont of Pelousion, Their Graces Bishops Justin of Zica and Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla; and Very Venerable Archimandrites Stephen – head of the Saint Sava Cathedral ,and Daniel, Secretary of the Synod of the Church of Alexandria.
