The Serbian Patriarch received in audience the State Secretary of the Vatican

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received His Eminence Pietro Cardinal Parolin, State Secretary of the Holy See, in the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade, on June 30, 2018.
His Eminence thanked His Holiness for the cordial reception, during which a discussion was held on numerous topics concerning the life of the two Churches. Patriarch Irinej expressed his gratitude to Cardinal Parolin for the visit and a message of Pope Francis of Rome as well as for the official position of the Vatican which prefers dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina to an unilateral recognition of an independence of the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija.
Saint Vitus Day celebrated in Novi Sad

On Thursday, 28 June 2018, in the Saint George church in Novi Sad, His Grace Bishop of Novi Sad and Backa Irinej celebrated the Holy Liturgy with the concelebration of Bishop Isihije of Mohacs, brotherhood of Cathedral church and deacons of Novi Sad.
After the read passage from the Gospel, Bishop Irinej addressed the faithful with the sermon.
Metropolitan Amfilohije serves on St. Vitus Day at Pec Patriarchate

His Eminence Amfilohije Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, Exarch of the Throne of Pec served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy at the Patriarchate of Pec, the centuries-old seat of the Serbian archbishops and patriarchs.
Metropolitan arrived to the Patriarchate of Pec yesterday after his service with other bishops at the Gracanica monastery and memorial service to the Serbian heroes killed in the Battle of Kosovo 1389 at Gazimestan due to the feast of St. Vitus Day, During the previous day the Metropolitan also visited Dechani monastery.
Vidovdan Commemoration - St. Nicholas, Philadelphia

On Sunday June 24th, the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox church of Philadelphia held a commemoration in honor of Vidovdan. The day began with Divine Liturgy, which was followed by Parastos for all Serbian warriors who laid down their lives in defense of the Faith and the Fatherland, from the Battle of Kosovo until today.
