Archangel Michael Church Slava in Saratoga

On a sunny day, Sunday, November 24th Saratoga parish organized their annual Church Slava Celebration with His Grace Bishop Maxim and neighboring clergy in attendance. The Matins Service and Hierarchical Divine Liturgy started at 9:30 AM in our new and yet unfinished Church. Although the morning was cool and the Church is still without heating, that did not stop the faithful of St. Michael Parish and a good number of believers from neighboring parishes to come and fill our Church to its full capacity.
Patron Saint-day of the Decani Monastery

This annual celebration of the Patron Saint-day of the monastery of Decani, the feast of Holy King Stefan of Decani, was enhanced with the presence of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch
Along with bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Their Graces Bishops Jovan of Sumadija, Pahomije of Vranje and Teodosije of Raska-Prizren, Serbian Patriarch Irinej consecrated a newly built so-called Prizren’s refectory. It is the monastic refectory where the brotherhood of the monastery will live.

The Serbian Patriarch was welcomed by Consul Branko Radovanovic, Vice-Consul Zivorad Petrovic, President of AirSerbia Germany Zoran Kostic, official of the Consulate Gojko Femic, as well as protopresbyter-stavrophor Milan Pejic, episcopal deputy; protopresbyter Marko Jovanovic, protopresbyter Stojan Barjaktarevic and protpriest Simon Turkic, as well as the official of the Diocese Mr. Carol Lupu.
Serbian Patriarch Irinej in Himmelsthür, Germany

On Monday evening, His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej arrived in the monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Himmelsthür.
Serbian Patriarch Irinej was welcomed by priests 0f the Diocese of Middle Europe. Yesterday, on 26th November, when our Holy Church celebrates Saint John Chrysostom, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the monastery of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God. Local priests concelebrated to the Patriarch.
