Тhe 10th anniversary of the Radio Slovo ljubve, Belgrade

On the occasion of the great jubilee - ten years of the Radio Slovo ljubve (The Word on Love), broadcasting agency of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovci, which fell on October 14, 2019, the Feast of the Protection of the Mother of God – which is also a patron saint day of the Radio, a celebration was organized in the premises of the radio station in Belgrade.

The Radio Slovo ljubve, functioning with the of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej, has had a number of major series produced in its own production over the past years: ‘Serbian Patriarchs”, “Founders and Endowers”, a cycle of issues "Under the Question mark" dedicated to World War I, a series "Legal Order in the so-called Independent State  of Croatia", then "Mysteries of Belgrade", "Belgrade Early Christian Martyrs", "Theological Views on Saint Maximus the Confessor", "Interviews with Academicians", a cycle of children's shows "Veronautics", "Exercise and Health" ...

The guests of Radio for the past ten years have been high representatives of the Church, distinguished figures of public, scientific and cultural life of Serbia, representatives of the Serbian diaspora, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts…

In 2019, the Radio Slovo ljubve, on the occasion of the Serbian Orthodox Church's great jubilee, 800 years of autocephaly, produced and broadcasted a 56-issue capital series "Along the Paths of Church Fathers," and soon will begin broadcasting an exceptional series dedicated to the suffering of Serbs in the 20th century as well as a kind of a Church Chanting School, thanks to which listeners will be able to learn something about the history, purpose and practice of liturgical chanting.
