14th Anniversary of Consecration of the Catholicos of All Armenians Celebrated in Busan

The 10th Assembly of the World Council of Churches continues its works in Busan, South Korea. Present at the assembly is the delegation of the Catholicosate of All Armenians.

On November 3, the members of the delegation of the Mother See attended celebrations of Divine Liturgy at the Coptic and Greek Orthodox Churches. During the Divine Liturgy in the Coptic Orthodox Church, the 14th anniversary of the reign of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, was honored and celebrated.

On this occasion His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church, bestowed upon the delegation of the Armenian Church two sacred icons from St. Damietie Church.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, as well as for the prayer devoted to the Catholicos of All Armenians and the Armenian Church, the delegation of the Armenian Church passed on His Holiness Patriarch Tawadros II a bas-relief from Holy Etchmiadzin on behalf of His Holiness Karekin II.
