17th “ Pavlia” in Veria

 
At the Divine Liturgy served on June 26, 2011 in the town of Naoussa, in the Metropolitanate of Veria, Naoussa and Campania, in the presence of representatives of all Orthodox Churches, the martyrs for the faith suffered in the revenge of the Turks against the Orthodox people of Naoussa because of their uprising in 1822 are officially proclaimed saints.

After the Liturgy, in the Cultural centre of Veria the 17th International Symposium “Pavlia” began with the theme “Spiritual fatherhood”.
 
This year a representative of the Serbian Orthodox Church at “Pavlia” is His Beatitude Archbishop of Ohrid and Metropolitan of Skopje kyr kyr Jovan.
