20th anniversary of the consecration of Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla
On 19th June 2020, on the feast of Venerable Bessarion the Wonderworker, it has been 20 years since the consecration of His Grace Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla.
On that occasion, His Eminence Metropolian Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana and Their Graces Bishops Irinej of Backa, Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac, David of Krusevac, Arsenije of Nis, Nikodim of Dalmatia and Heruvim of Osijek and Baranja visited His Grace Fotije in his Episcopal palace in Bijeljina.
The sisterhood of the monastery of St. Basil of Ostrog from Bijeljina, Republic of Srpska, prepared a monograph entitled “Bishop Fotije - Twenty years of episcopal ministry”. A new collection of poems by Bishop Fotije “I need Eternity” has been published recently.
Joining the prayers and congratulations to His Grace Fotije, we chant prayers today and always:
Your Grace Fotije, consecrated and God-chosen Bishop of the God-saved Diocese of Zvornik and Tuzla, our father and pastor, ad multos annos!
