27th Sunday after Pentecost in Cudahy, Wisconsin

On 27th Sunday after Pentecost, His Grace Bishop Longin of New Gracanica-Midwestern America officiated the Holy Liturgy in the church of Saint Nicholas in Cudahy, Wisconsin.

The Bishop was concelebrated by local parish priest Nikola Radovancevic and archpriest Radomir Cutilo from Milwaukee, as well as protodeacon Milovan Gogic.

Harmonious singing of a church choir led by conducter Tom Sprema it further contributed to the solemnity of service to God.

Following the Liturgy,  a small memorial service was held for all the deceased parishioners, and a slava cake was blessed in the church hall before lunch.

The house of prayer in Cudahy is decorated with beautiful frescoes, as well as a new iconostasis in woodcut with exceptional icons, which were painted in the Minic studio from Belgrade.
