Accreditation of media representatives for the solemn act of inauguration of Serbian Patriarch Irinej

On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch which will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the great lavra of the Patriarchate of Pec, the historic seat of the Serbian patriarchs, the Organization committee invites interested media to send to e-mail address info@spc.rs no later than Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 15:00 the name of a journalist, who will be provided with the transportation by the Serbian Orthodox Church from Belgrade to Pec and a convinient place in the monastery courtyard. 

Besides the name and last name of a journalist, an application for the accreditation should consist of a number of the ID and a place of  issue or a number of the passport and a place of issue.

About the approved accreditation, editorial staff  will be notified by e-mail and telephone, on Friday September 24 until 12am. Detailed information on the organization of the route, accredited journalists will be given later.

So, to all interested parties,   and the media, going to the enthronement of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch  is only possible by bus, under the condition that every priest is the leader of the bus route.

At the same time, inform the media that in the church will not be allowed to use camcorders and cameras, as the photos of the act of inauguration photos in high resolution, during and immediately after the service, will be posted on the official website of the Information Service of the Serbian Orthodox Church (www.spc. rs), and that all media will be able to use them for free and unlimited. 

On this occasion, the Serbian Orthodox Church expressed special gratitude to the Radio Television of Serbia, which , as always in such situations, provides a direct television transmission of the  enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch, on local and satellite network, as well as a live broadcast  on the website of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

In the belief that the representatives of the media, during this event, will act in accordance with its historical significance, the Organization committee thanks in advance for the cooperation.
