The agreement on cooperation between Kiev Theological Academy and the Orthodox Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade has been signed in Serbia

May 25, 2013 in Belgrade, the rector of the Kiev Theological Academy and Seminary, metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil and dean of the Orthodox Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade, archpriest Predrag Puzovich signed an agreement on cooperation between the two theological schools. At the same time it was also signed an agreement on cooperation between the Orthodox Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade and the St. Petersburg Theological Academy.

Before signing the contract were provided the word to the audience by the metropolitan Bachsky and Novi Sad Irenaeus (Bulovich), rector of the Kiev Theological Academy, metropolitan Anthony of Boryspil, rector of the St. Petersburg Theological Academy, bishop Ambrose of Peterhof and the Dean of the Theological Faculty in Belgrade, Predrag Puzovich Fr. All of them mentioned the centuries-old historical ties between the theological schools of Serbia, Russia and Ukraine, and expressed the hope that the signed agreement will serve as an enrichment of theological studies in the Slavic countries.

The agreement provides for the exchange of students and teachers, exchange of experience in the field of modern educational methods, the development and implementation of joint research projects, conducting research symposia, conferences and seminars, exchange of publications, educational and scientific publications of mutual interest.

After signing the delegation visited the Kiev Theological Academy Russian cemetery in Belgrade, where are buried many members of the Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian expatriates living in Serbia.
