Archbishop Damaskinos visits Serbian parish in Johannesburg

On the fifth week of Easter lent, on April 10, 2011, His Eminence Archbishop Damaskinos (Papandreu) of Johannesburg and Pretoria visited the Serbian parish and the church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Johannesburg. This was the first visit since his enthronement in December 2010 on the throne of the Orthodox archbishop of South Africa.

Archbishop was accompanied by hierodeacon Damaskinos from Greece. Archbishop attended the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy served by the head of the church archimandrite Pantelejmon.
