Archbishop Ieronymos officially invited the Ecumenical Patriarch to Athens

Bishop Symeon of Thespies, the Protosyncellos of the Archdiocese of Athens, visited the Ecumenical Patriarchate on April 17. He was received by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, to whom he gave the invitation of the Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens to visit Greece and preside at the dedication of Saint Porphyrios center for Gerontology and Social Support in Dilesi, Central Greece, on May 23, in the presence of Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos, the President of the Hellenic Republic.

The Patriarch accepted this kind invitation, and asked the bishop of Thespies to convey his cordial greetings to the Archbishop of Athens on the occasion of Pascha.
