On Sunday, December 11, 2011 in the Cathedral church of Christ the Saviour in Banja Luka, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was served by archimandrite Kirill (Govorun), cleric of the Russian Orthodox Church, with the concelebration of the priests of the Cathedral church.

Archimandrite Kirill thanked Bishop Jefrem of Banja Luka, the brotherhood of the Cathedral church, as well as the pious people of Serbia, for the showed brotherly love and hospitality in the city of Banja Luka.

Archimandrite Kirill (Govorun) is a deputy of the president of the Committee for education of the Russian Orthodox Church and participant of many world inter-Orthodox, inter-Christian and interreligious dialogues and conferences. He is the author of many articles. His specialty is Christology, Dogmatic theology, Canon law, Western philosophy and Biblistics.
