The Australian government is putting an end to Christian calendar

The Australian government is planning to eliminate the Christian dating based on the birth of Jesus Christ from every history textbook, following allegations that freedom of religion is being violated.

Specifically, the country’s Ministry of Education will replace from the textbooks the terms BC (Before Christ) and AD (Anno Domini) with the notation systems CE (Common Era) and BCE (Before Common Era).

These types of dating have almost replaced the Christian dating in scientific publications since the early 20th century.
